Summer Vaca ’09 – Day 8

The same hostess from yesterday seated us at the hotel restaurant this morning. She asked us if everyone was feeling better when she seated us. I noticed that we were sitting on tile floor instead of carpet today. HAHA I guess she learned her lesson with us yesterday.

We went to church at St. Paul – Columbia, IL. Tim did field work there when he was in the Seminary. The pastor recognized him and acknowledged that we were there in the welcome. I think Tim was touched to be remembered.

Time to hit the road. Again. We stopped in Perryville for lunch with Tim’s parents, sister Abby, and her children Paul and Hannah.

Once again, back on the road. Are we there yet? We knew it would be a long drive, so we stayed overnight at a Holiday Inn in Canton, MS.
