Swimming Like Fish
This past winter, we finally enrolled Isaiah and Mallory in swimming lessons. The results are amazing! These two can hold their own, even in the deep end (8 feet!) of my parent's swimming pool. Like I said in a previous post, we had quite a bit of rain while we were in Pensacola. That didn't stop us from jumping in every chance we had!
You know you're in Florida when you find a frog in the pool...
...and one in the living room later on. π
Just Beachy
In keeping with the tone of this vacation (remember the car break-in?), LOTS of rain was forecasted for our time in Pensacola. We took advantage of beautiful weather our first day and went out to Pensacola Beach.
Imagine our disappointment when we saw the HUGE amount of seaweed in the Gulf. No one at the beach wanted to swim in salad.
Hot and standing around. Why can't it be pretty like it usually is so we can swiiiiimmmmm????
We could have been like this guy, but our metal detector was stolen. Still not over someone stealing from my kid, but whatever.
Green flag must have meant too much plant life in the water instead of calm surf. π
I πthis picture of Holly.
When we started to get hot and hungry, so we went across the street to Red Fish Blue Fish. Oh goodness. Was our lunch ever yummy!
Leave your phone with your niece, and you'll find lots of fun selfies. π
