Vacation - Day 12 (7.24.08)

This is the last day of our vacation pictures. After sleeping with the light on in our hotel room in an attempt to keep Isaiah calm, we decided to pull the plug and head home early. Don't get the wrong idea - Isaiah is a very well-mannered and well-behaved boy. He was just ready to be home. You should have heard him happily babbling when we turned onto our street! Family and friends that we visited - please don't take offense to this. It's probably my fault for not bringing enough familiar things from home.

Leaving St. Louis early was a very big deal for me. I was really looking forward to spending time there and seeing some aunts, uncles, and cousins of mine. Don't worry - I had a good cry before we left.

As we walked down to the museum underneath the Arch, Isaiah let out a squeal of delight!

Vacation - Day 11 (7.23.08)

Isaiah is very sad to say good-bye to Julie.

St. Louis will always be home for me. You can take the girl out of Missouri, but you can't take Missouri out of the girl...

Tim went inside the hotel to check-in, so I kept Isaiah entertained with a great game of Peek-a-Boo in the mirror.

This is the view from our seats at the Cardinals game. Isn't it gorgeous?!?! The more times I visit this park, the more I like it.

Someone was just too tired! He slept only during the 1st and 2nd innings, but little did we know he was charging up for a rough night at the hotel...

Isaiah wanted to let you know that he is going to be a big brother!

That's right! Baby #2 is due January 20th. You might remember that Isaiah was due January 23rd, but he was born on November 21st. Hopefully, we'll make it past week 30 this time around! Please keep us in your prayers.

If you look closely at the ultrasound picture, you can see its little legs crossed! The baby also looks as though it's hand is up by its mouth. The ultrasound was done in June; I'm at week 15 right now.

Incredible! Vacation - Day 10 (7.22.08)

Today was incredible! (Incredible was our word for the day after our incredible lunch at Incredible Pizza.) It was completely a "boy day", but I still had a good time.

Julie had to work today, but Aaron was able to spend the day with us around Springfield.

After Chef Aaron's great breakfast of eggs in a basket, blueberry pancakes, and bacon we went to a petting zoo. Just a side note about breakfast - it was incredible, too! Aaron said the pancake recipe should have made 10-12, but he only made 4. We were stuffed!

What an incredible lunch! I LOVE this place!!! We were quite pleased to learn that they have an Incredible Pizza on Lindbergh in St. Louis.

Flying the Incredible Pizza helicopter with Dad. They have a HUGE game room with go karts, bumper cars, mini golf, and tons of games. We didn't actually play, but Isaiah enjoyed pretending.

After our incredible lunch at Incredible Pizza, we spent 2 1/2 hours at the largest Bass Pro Store. Apparently, it all go started in Springfield. (I told you it was a "boy day".)

To end our Boy Day, we went to see a minor league baseball game. The Springfield Cardinals are affiliated with my home team!

The ball park reminded us of a smaller scale Busch Stadium.

Isaiah was on the Jumbo-Tron! I caught the camera guy's attention in the crowd by waving Isaiah's arms, and he put him up on the screen.

See you soon! Aaron had to work the next morning, so we had to say good-bye before bed. By the way, Isaiah slept through the night on Tuesday night!!!

Vacation - Day 9 (7.21.08)

Believe it or not, I don't have any pictures to share with you from Monday.

Monday morning, we left Little Rock, AR to head for Springfield, MO. I ride was very pretty! For lunch, we stopped at a restaurant called The Dixie Cafe. Great suggestion, Mom and Dad! Isaiah really liked it, too.

Since I've never been to Branson, and we were passing by we took a quick drive thru town. I'm not big into big tourist places, but I have to admit that the Titanic museum looked pretty cool. In a brochure that I was reading it said that they have a piece of the "ship" used to film James Cameron's movie!

We made good time to Aaron and Julie's house. Isaiah loved to follow Julie around - they became friends very quickly. :-) We went to a restaurant called Cheddar's for dinner, and it was fantastic!!!

Vacation - Day 8 (7.20.08)

We left Pensacola after church and drove to Little Rock, AR to spend the night. We made surprisingly good time! We kept to our vacation rule for dinner and ate somewhere we cannot get in Appleton - Corky's BBQ.

Vacation - Day 7 (7.19.08)

Amazingly, Isaiah did not pester Bitsy. He loved to watch her and follow her around, but he didn't even bother her food bowl.

After a quick trip to Target, Jenny discovered that she had been walking around with this stuck to her leg. Do you know what it is?!?! HAHAHA Hey, Jenny, what did Ryan say when he saw where we left it in the Jeep?

Somebody was a little jealous! Holly kept telling Jenny the she should put Isaiah in his crib. She finally went over to Tim and told him the same thing. When Jenny laid him down, Holly couldn't climb into her lap fast enough!
