Pumpkin Patch

Every year, we take Isaiah and Mallory to the pumpkin patch to pick out their pumpkins for Halloween. I think the family favorite is the tractor wagon ride.

They drive you out to this field in the middle of no where, and they leave you to wait for the Great Pumpkin. Just kidding. They take you out to a field to choose your pumpkin, and another tractor wagon comes out to pick you up.

Um, maybe you could choose a different pumpkin, Little Miss. Gross!

Mallory was so cute waving hello/good-bye to the people on the tractor.

The corn pit was fun, even though the kids ended up with corn in their shoes.

Post Season Baseball

We made to Opening Day 2011 and Post Season Play-offs, with many games in between this year. We might have actually been able to attend a World Series game - Tim's name was actually pulled from the lottery to try for tickets, but the Brewers didn't go. Whatever. Yes, you heard that right. I am still pulling for the Cardinals, but it would have been oh.so.cool to go to a World Series Game.

Since it wasn't raining (thought it was quite cool) we decided to tailgate with the kids. They did great! Isaiah and Mallory ate a great lunch and behaved wonderfully. A note for parents with young children, though. Bringing the portable potty seat for the recently potty trained 2 year old is a great idea, but it is an EXCELLENT idea to remember the bowl that goes inside it. The lines at the port-a-potties are looooooong.
