Baseball No :(
Our attempt to see a Cardinal ballgame in St. Louis was not very successful because of the rain. :( We sure had fun trying, though!
Isaiah and Julie - Mallory named her baby 'Julie' when we returned to Wisconsin. :)
OK - let's try it... Note the cloudy sky.

Well, we can say we were here!

St. Louis Fam and Randoms
While in St. Louis, we were able to meet some of my mom's side of the family for dinner. It's really too bad that we don't get to see them more often or spend more time together when we do have an opportunity to get together. It's always such a good time!

Have a Six Flags Day!
The four of us visited Six Flags Mid America in Eureka, MO at the end of July. We had a Six Flags Day for sure! I have not been to this Six Flags park since I was a kid. Having grown up in Missouri, this is the park that my parents took my sister and me to. It was really cool to see how it had changed, while some things that I remembered were still around.

Ride the train!
As you can tell, it was so incredibly hot that day! We all enjoyed our very own souvenir bottles with free refills all day. Each of the kids drank over 32 ounces of water, so we stayed plenty hydrated. The amusement park side was not crowded at all! Everyone was on the other side of the park in the wave pool.

St. Louis Style Pizza
On our family vacation, I had the pleasure of introducing Isaiah and Mallory to St. Louis style pizza. yum.yum.yum. I was quite pleased that they were BIG fans of it, too. :)
Tim's sister told me about Imo's shredded provel cheese that you can buy at Schnuck's! Are.you.kidding?! Six bags of shredded cheese later, this girl returned to the Land 'o Cheese with Missouri cheese.

Kentucky Travels
July 26-27, 2010
Wow. I am really behind in my blogging.
Part of our family vacation this year was a visit to Bowling Green/Glasgow, Kentucky to visit some of my Dad's side of the family. We have way too many extended family members that we haven't seen since our wedding (6 years ago - yikes!), so we're trying to work our way around to see all of them.
First stop - visit to see Grandpa Salyer. He passed away a few months before Tim and I were married.
Anyway, Kelly's husband David and all of Amy and Kelly's children were there to visit, too. The kids has so much fun playing together, and we were super excited to meet the newest - sweet baby Hannah!
We all stayed at the same (brand new!) Country Inn & Suites in Bowling Green. It was really nice! Each room even had a dvd player! I've NEVER seen that in a hotel before!
