Off to Florida

One thing we value as a family is travel. Sometimes we have the opportunity to explore new places, but this year we were super excited to head to Pensacaola to spend some time with my family!

We have great neighbors that were willing to look after our sweet kitty girl. For a brief moment, we might have considered bringing her with us. (We learned by the end of the trip that 13 days was most definitely too long without her.)

How unusual that I was in the car ready to go before Tim. ;) Naturally, we didn't make it out of the neighborhood before we had to turn back for something. We forgot Tim's fishing pole and tackle box. Oops. At least I knew that my flat iron wasn't plugged in. Not possible, considering it was in my suitcase. :P

Checking out the sites along the way is a great way to stretch your legs. Beware of the chicken sandwich at the Wendy's in Lincoln, IL. Tim's was raw when he bit into it...GROSS!

 Me: Smile.
Tim: I am.
 That's better!

Just passing through...that skyline view makes me smile.

Christmas 2011

Happy Birthday, baby Jesus!

Merry Christmas!

Opening presents with the kids was so much fun this year! I was really smart and wrapped Isaiah's gifts in Thomas paper and Mallory's in princess paper. I didn't have to label any of them which was a good thing since I was wrapping really late on Christmas Eve.

Neena and PawPaw got Isaiah a Thomas pillow pet. He loves it and sleeps with it every night.

It amazes me how pretty Barbie doll hair looks in the package. 5 minutes after the dolls are out, their hair is a fright!

Mallory takes so many fun pictures with her digital camera. Be watching for her very own blog - Mallory's Take - to be released soon!

Every year, we have a just-the-four-of-us family vacation the week between Christmas and New Year's. We had a 2-part trip this year - St. Louis and Chicago. St. Louis was quick, so we weren't able to see any of my aunts, uncles, or cousins that live there. :( Hopefully, we will get to see them this summer, but if not - for SURE at my cousin Mary's wedding in October!)

Tim surprised me with Busch Stadium Tour tickets in my stocking! FUN!!! A funny little story about our tour - while we were inside on the tour our salesperson for Miller Park called to confirm our purchase of Brewer Season Tickets for the year. What funny timing! Tim assured the sales rep that while I love the Cards, we are still Brewer fans, too. :)

We walked down the street to see where the Blues play. Game that night!

Score Card covers for each of the World Series wins. This year's yet to come!

In the dug out!

Time to call the bull pen!

Almost up to bat...

Cute little tourist

Blues Baby!

I had fun playing with the digital camera.

Might have to frame this picture above for Tim!

Making her mother oh-so-proud! Mallory discovered Toasted Ravioli on this trip. :)

On the Road

Well, we survived another family vacation. What a long trip! Our first destination was Pensacola, FL. Because it is a full 2 days in the car, we stopped for one night in Jackson, MO on the way down. After 4 days in Pensacola, we returned to Jackson/Cape Girardeau for 3 days to visit Tim's family. Back in the car we went; this time to Minnesota. We spent time with Tim's cousin and his family in Alexandria, had a brief visit with Tim's grandparents in Willmar, and finally some just-us-family time in Minneapolis. Our last night was in Milwaukee for a Brewer game.

We had a lot of fun, but we are so glad to be out of the car! I read all 3 books that I brought with me, and had to make a trip to Barnes & Noble to buy another for the ride home. We crossed the Mississippi River I don't know how many times all from different parts of the country north to south.

A solid two weeks in the car, we made it through 10 states.

The Sleeping Twins

Sibling Love :)

Our Navigator...? To trust her directions, or not...hmmm...

Our Driver - the King of Talk Radio (blech)

(If I never have to listen to talk radio again, it will be too soon! Ugh.)

Love you, honey!

Passing by STL on our way to Jackson - I thought this is a pretty cool picture to be moving on the highway!

Snapshots of Summer

At the rate I have been blogging (or not blogging), I will never get done sharing the rest of our summer with you if I don't do it this way. It's all of August in one post!

Aaron and Isaiah

Julie (Mallory's BFF), me, and the kiddos

Adorable dress, don't you think? Made with love especially for Mallory from Neena.

Tim's dad retired from P&G, so the above two pics of Mallory were taken at his retirement party. I wish I had taken more pictures of the cousins playing, but it was like herding cats to make sure nothing got broken at the church we were at. Not an easy situation to take pictures in...

Isaiah's favorite place to eat after spending some time in Missouri - White Castle!

Climbed in all by himself...oh goodness...

Mallory's first week at day care was short. She stayed home Thursday with a yucky, high fever. :(

LOVE this picture - We have it framed and on our work desks.

Tunnel!

Such intense facial expressions!

Another dress made by Neena - this one was handed down from Holly!

We attended several baseball games in August and September.

Hey - this would be a great Facebook profile pic!

"The Look"

Sitting still and behaving nicely...for 5 seconds - No, really, they behave great and sit through the entire game!

Busy summer!
Naturally, I forgot my camera at home the last game of the season that we went to. It was on my birthday, and check this out - we were selected to be the Kohl's Family of the Game! We were on the Jumbo-Tron jumping around, and the announcer congratulated, "The Seabaugh family from Appleton" on winning a $250 Kohl's gift card. Excellent!

You should hear him make the siren noise! When done while in the car, it's loud enough to make you want to pull to the side of the road to let the fire engine pass.

I don't know what this face is all about, but it's pretty funny.

Sigh...I love summer vacation...

Simply adorable! Mallory loves to have "pretties" put in her hair.
