Day at the Ark - 6.30.08

What we did: We spent the day at Noah's Ark! Slidewinders were definitely our favorite. There was no line, no waiting, and you didn't have to carry a raft up any stairs. Shelby was even able to ride these on her own, and Holly could ride down with one of us.
What we ate: Breakfast was on the road, and lunch was a picnic at the Ark. Jenny has a great cooler - I went to pour Isaiah some milk, and it had frozen during the drive. On the way home, we stopped in Ripon, WI at an A&W restaurant. Isaiah did not like the ice cream machine, and of course that's what tons of people ordered. He screamed in fear every time they turned it on. Nana took him outside and he calmed right down.
Bumper Boats!

Hey! You're supposed to be taking a nap!

Slidewinders were the best!

Holly can ride, too.

Isaiah finally napping. What a fantastic day!!!

I can't wait to go back there! Uh...let me rethink this! Maybe when the water temp is about 85 degrees and there are no ice cubes in there!!! What a great time, even if the water was below freezing!

Very cool. We need to do Slidewinders next year when we go with the youth. My cousin said that when we go next year, and to follow. She wants to join us. She had fun. I have a cute picture on my space page of her and Gaby. And with Sarah as well. Remind me on Monday or Tuesday to bring the camera for Wednesday. Have a safe and happy fourth of July. God Bless America!
