Swimming Like Fish

This past winter, we finally enrolled Isaiah and Mallory in swimming lessons. The results are amazing! These two can hold their own, even in the deep end (8 feet!) of my parent's swimming pool. Like I said in a previous post, we had quite a bit of rain while we were in Pensacola. That didn't stop us from jumping in every chance we had!

You know you're in Florida when you find a frog in the pool...

...and one in the living room later on. 😆

Florida Bound!

One more stretch of driving, and we'll be in FLORIDA! YAY!

Packing the car is definitely like playing Tetris.

 Isaiah loves reading maps. 💙

Rest areas are for potty breaks and conquering Pokemon gyms.

You know you're in the south when you get to eat some greasy Whataburger. Oh, yeah.

 Battleship in Mobile...almost there!

15 minutes from Dad and Mom's...gotta stop to potty. We were so close! Oh, well. At least the Welcome Center is cool.

😀💓 HOME! 💓😀

WAKE UP, SHELBY. I want to bug you.

Holly is ready to go! Woop woop! So happy to see family!

Lucy, we finally get to meet!!! Now come on out from under that table...

Isaiah is so ready to go swimming!

Day at the Beach

On such a cold winter day, I figure it's a good time to look at pictures of our day at the beach last summer.  :)

We stopped at Fort Pickens for a quick "Photo Studio by Mommy".  The background is just awesome there.  Too bad the kids were into making faces.  Between Mom's, Jenny's, and my cameras all going though, we did get some excellent shots!

 Sibling Love

 Huh?!?!

 Silly Little Miss!

That's it!  That's the one!  I'm gonna frame it...

My deep thinker has my heart...  :)

See?!  They DO love each other!

I'm sorry, what?  Were you saying something to me?
I love the wrinkles on his forehead.  What a honey!

A big chunk of my heart is always in Pensacola with these two!  LOVE!

Isaiah and Mallory (and Tim and me, too!) were so super excited to swim in the Gulf.  It turns out Isaiah is a little fish who can't get enough of being in the water, and Mallory is the Queen of Sand Castles!

More Fort Pickens...the hundreds of pictures on my computer are severely disorganized.  Oh well!

 PawPaw!  :D

Oh, how we could float and swim all day...sigh...  This looks amazing looking at these today.  Especially since we woke up to a temp of -5/feels like -20 degrees!

Water retreat!  I need to protect my castle in the sand!
