Summer Vaca ’09 – Day 6

We got up this morning and got everything packed up. First stop – Tim’s grandmother’s house. We had a nice visit with her, which included lunch at a Chinese restaurant.

After lunch, we headed back north again. We seem to be going one direction, and then turning around and going the opposite direction a lot on this trip. We checked into our hotel, and met up with my parents. It was very exciting for my dad to meet Mallory! Mom and Dad came to our hotel, and from there we went to the St. Louis Mills. The Mills is a mall off highway 370 (new since I was a kid and lived there), with great stores – like Cabelas and Archiver’s – and a practice rink for Tim’s favorite hockey team, the St. Louis Blues. We haven’t made it to a game in a couple of seasons, but this year we got to see them practice!

Jenny, Ryan, Shelby, and Holly made it into town. They had quite an adventure! (Are we laughing about it yet? If not, let me know when I’m allowed to!) Ryan and Jenny just love the interstate highways and traffic in St. Louis. Isn’t that right, you guys? HAHAHA Sorry, I laughed a little. Once everyone found their way, they got to meet Mallory, as well.

As for me, I love the hustle and bustle of the big city!
