Aquarium Madness

Traditional Vacation Picture
"I love Chicago!" Believe it or not, we taught Isaiah how to say Chicago. It is too cute!

There we are reflected in the egg!

Today's featured attraction - the Shedd Aquarium
The aquarium was packed today! We waited in line for over an hour to get in; we waited in line for about 30 minutes for lunch; we waited in line to use the bathroom; we waiting in line to see the fish. Ugh. Good thing it's a really super cool place and worth the wait.
The dolphins, whales, and penguins were "on vacation" because their exhibit is being renovated. That was kind of disappointing, but we did notice a lot of changes. The sharks at the Wild Reef have gotten much bigger, and there is a very scary new Anaconda snake at the Amazon exhibit! It's over 15 feet long and weighs around 100 pounds!
The double stroller has worked out GREAT on this trip. One seat for Isaiah, and one seat for our winter coats. No locker rental fee for us!

Daytime skyline

What a loooong day! No nap for Booper; he's been such a trooper!
Breakfast is included at our hotel, and lunch was very overpriced at the aquarium. Dinner was quite fun, though! We found a new place called Dick's Last Resort. After such a long day, it was really nice to eat somewhere fun, with tasty food (bbq ribs, chicken, buffalo wings, etc.), and only one block away from our hotel.
Tomorrow, we hope to visit the planetarium. There is a Sesame Street movie playing there that Isaiah will really enjoy.

ok....what did you do with all the snow?????

You and Isaiah looked pooped in that last picture! You are very brave wearing overalls as much as you probably have to visit the ladies room!

Looks like you all are having a great time!
