On the Road Again

I'm using Nick and Jess's computer, so I don't have any pictures to share with you. We arrived safely in time for dinner yesterday evening - rotisserie chicken, green bean casserole, and corn bread - YUM! Isaiah and Hannah love playing together, and Ian smiles all the time! He really seems to enjoy watching the two older kids. Jess and I ran to Target. Guess what I forgot at home...diapers and wipes! That's a stinky mistake. Fortunately, I keep two diapers in my purse, so those got us through the car trip.

Tim and I very naively thought that Isaiah would sleep good since he had a chance to explore his new surroundings before bed time rolled around. How silly we were. I suppose it wasn't too bad. He was up crying three times, but went back to sleep fairly easily the first two times. I am so very grateful to my wonderful husband for rolling out of bed to turn Isaiah's music on for me. It was a good suggestion on his part to bring the cd player and lullaby cd that we play every night. The third time, at 5:00, I finally just got up for the day with him. We were walking the neighborhood at 6:00, so at least I was able to get in some exercise.

Jess had to work, Hannah and Ian went to their babysitter's house, Tim and Nick went fishing, so Isaiah and I have been hanging out together today. It has been a really nice quiet day! I was able to get him back to sleep from 9:00-11:00, so I caught up on a little sleep myself. When we got up, we ran to the store and picked up McDonald's for lunch. Isaiah didn't eat very much - I'm not sure what that's all about. We played with some toys, and rocked in the rocking chair together. Isaiah is fast asleep on the couch! I'm praying for a good mood boy for dinner tonight. Tonight's menu - lasagna, one of my favorites!

Did they catch any fish? And I don't mean the ones from Mickey D's!

Take a picture of the QVC store at Mall of America for me :)
