Good Intentions

So many times I have good intentions. For example, I intend to post pictures of Isaiah with homemade blankies by Nana Suelee and Great-Grandma Werder. I intend to keep my house clean. I intend to make some serious progress on my case study for my graduate class. I intend to post pictures of Isaiah at his first dance.

Oh, well. I guess my intentions will just have to wait until tomorrow. For now, I will leave you with a very profound thought about parenting.

Parenting means not being able to use the bathroom with the door closed anymore. If you close the door, your kid sits just outside it and cries pitifully. It is so wonderful to be needed and loved so often, though. I will gladly "go" with the door open if it means my sweet little Isaiah wants to be near me.

I'm sure you are now laughing at my expense. That one is okay - because I intended to make you smile when you read my blog.

I now intend to get some sleep. Night-night sugar plum!

See you in the morn-morn.

And yes, you did indeed make me laugh out loud (while I'm sitting here by myself). How true! How true!!!! (about the bathroom door)

I think everyone has "coulda; shoulda; woulda" days! If I knew now what I knew then things would be different! I don't like to live in that kind of thinking. Don't look back..unless it's thinking about Disney :)

It is so niced to be loved, but I can tell you from experience that it's not going to get any better! Austin is 2 1/2 and still comes into the bathroom with me. He has to tear off my toilet paper and flush for me, too. I guess I should cherish these times because I'm sure they will be gone way too soon!

And "night night, sugar plum"....that has so many memories! I can't believe that you are using that!
