Mom's Visit in August

Cleaning wasn't the only things that we did when my mom came to visit in August. We made plenty of time for cards and Vera shopping. We even made it to Milwaukee for a Brewer game.

They say the first step is admitting it, right? OK, then. I have Obsessive Cleaning Disorder.

But, look at that grout sparkle!

Little Artist

Mallory absolutely loves the easel that PawPaw made for her. She spends lots and lots of time drawing on her marker board with dry erase markers. We had to replace them once because she left all of the caps off. Now she reminds everyone to put the caps back on.

Nana Shoes

Mallory decided to walk on the play banana halves from her ice cream shop, and announced that she had Nana Shoes! It was hilarious to watch her cross the room while standing on plastic bananas!

Taco Tuesday

One Tuesday evening this past summer, I drove thru Taco Bell for a quick supper. Much to their mother's delight - Isaiah and Mallory loved the soft tacos! (I heart Mexican food.)

Chips and cheese dip?! Oh, yes...they are their mother's children!

Even Isaiah - who has become quite picky - ate an entire taco. This was a big deal because like I said, he was extremely picky with what he would/would not eat this summer. Thankfully, this has improved now that school has started again. I guess the Celebration cook is better than me. :(

Little Miss Dramatic

Mallory's personality is quite dramatic. She is such a fun little girl who loves to be teased and tickled. :)

I wish I had posted this blog sooner. I took these pictures in June, and she was telling me how she was feeling. It was such an adorable choice of words, but I cannot remember exactly what she said. :(

Apparently, however she said she was feeling was all an act.
