I have two recipes picked out for this week. I plan to have salad and garlic bread with each dinner, and I will be enjoying leftovers in my lunches this week. Well, except for hot dog day on Wednesday. :) I don't know what it is about the school's hot dogs, but I really like them!
Both recipes go in the slow cooker. The slow cooker will be a lifesaver for me this week! I plan to make it to the gym at least 3 nights, and I have a Title I night at school one evening.
Meal #1: Beer-Braised Chicken
Meal #2: Pot Roast with Dill (from my Diabetic Slow Cooker cook book)

P.S. Please share slow cooker recipes with me! It is such a useful tool in the kitchen during the school year.

The beer braised chicken sounds wonderful. Can I have the recipe for that? The only thing we really do in the slow cooker is beef roast. But Dad bought a new cookbook last week, so we may be trying new recipes soon!
If you click on the name of the dish in my blog, it will take you directly to the recipe. Enjoy! I just prepared everything to dump into the crock pot tomorrow.
Be sure to share your favorite slow cooker recipes with me!!! :)
Meal #1 sounds pretty dog gone good to me! I'll look and see what I have for crock pot recipes.
Becky, I have a great BBQ pork tenderloin recipe for the crockpot that is super easy and yummy. Just let me know if you want it! Your kids are precious! Love ya', Heather
